- How can I book training?
Use the contact us link. - How soon can I book training?
Depends on instructor availability. Most times we can attempt to expedite urgently required training. - How much does a training program cost?
Many factors effect the costs for a training program. Instructor led course for standard 3 hour and 6 hour courses are shown on the courses tab. Custom courses involve needs assessments, and courseware redesign. Our professional service fees depend on a number of factors. Once you let us know your needs, we can provide a best value estimate for your project. - How long does the training last?
You have a choice of "custom" or "standard" training so this will depend on what you or your team members need to learn. Our minimum training is a 1/2 day program. - What is the difference between "Custom" and "standard" training?
"Standard" is more suitable for the average computer users as the pace is brisk and we follow a perscribed courseware outlines.
"Custom" is preferred by many clients to allow more time for their application needs. - Are there cost benefits for larger groups?
Larger groups become more cost effective on a per person basis. - Are there additional costs for out of town training?
YES, travel plus accommodation if overnight stays are required plus per diem costs. Your individual quotation will provide full details. - Are contracts required and signed?
YES, for larger training programs to protect both our clients and Nerak Training & Consulting. - Is training ever cancelled?
Please review our cancellation policy. After a contract is signed, we will not cancel unless there are exceptional circumstances on our part (inclement weather,sickness,death in the family, accident etc). - Can I cancel training?
Please review our cancellation policy. After a contract is signed, training can be cancelled by you if you provide 10 working days notice. If we have already incurred some costs these are non-refundable. Your specific contract will determine if any other costs will be billed. - Are Purchase Orders required from my company?
YES. If no Purchase Order is provided then a partial deposit is required. - Is GST charged?
YES (PST if applicable also depending on which province we are working in.) In July 2010 the harmonized tax will be included to replace GST & PST requirements in BC. - How do you bill me and how soon is payment expected?
We invoice at the conclusion of the training. Payment is expected within 7 days of the training and can be by company check or a certified personal check. - Is courseware (user manual) included?
Courseware is always included. - Is courseware mandatory?
YES, it is highly recommended. Sometimes we may be able to provide "Quick tip - sheets" but they cannot replace the courseware. - Is there any preparation on my part?
Yes. If we are using your facility. You have to ensure that the appropriate software is installed, tested and ready to run and that the room is available for the agreed upon date(s). You also must ensure that the course participants meet the prerequisites as outlined in each course requirement. - Do we provide custom software?
The customer has to have the required legal software installed on their computer systems. - Can you provide computers?
Depending on availability, we offer clients a "class in a box" for up to 12 learners. This will be provided for an additional charge to be negotiated. - Can you provide labs for groups?
YES. We provide computer labs in both Kelowna and West Kelowna. However the rental has to be paid for in advance and sufficient notice has to be given. - Do you carry liability insurance?
YES we carry general business liability insurance. . - Is Internet connectivity required?
Yes / and NO. This all depends on the course that we are teaching. Some programs are online and others are on a networked PC platform. Some training modules depend on a working internet connection being available.
